Dr. Tener Huang is a board-eligible pediatric dentist. Having received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from NYU, Dr. Tener went on to study at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she was the first graduate of a dual degree program, receiving both a Doctorate in Dental Surgery as well as a Masters of Public Health through the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She went on to complete a pediatric dental residency at the Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry, where she served as chief resident and received an additional Master’s in Oral Biology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tener has remained committed to the advancement of pediatric care in her community and abroad. She has participated in dental missions in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic, treating underserved children. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Tener serves on faculty at Columbia University teaching first year dental students, conducting community outreach, and continuing dental public health research.
Dr. Tener grew up in Millburn, NJ and graduated from Millburn High School. She currently lives in New York. She enjoys her time with friends, family, and her newborn son. Her greatest passion second only to dentistry is traveling, having been to over 40 countries and counting.
