After receiving his degree in engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Dr. John Ianzano went on to graduate studies and received his DMD degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1980. He continued to study at the post-doctoral level and received his Master of Science of Dentistry in Prosthodontics from Indiana University in 1983.
He returned to New Jersey where he became Department Chairman of Dental Materials at UMD&J. He later became Director of Fixed Prosthodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
During his academic tenures, Dr. Ianzano had the opportunity to publish many articles and contribute to several textbooks in the field of advanced restorative dentistry. He spent many years lecturing both nationally and internationally, teaching fellow dentists the finer points of advanced dental restorations.
Dr. Ianzano was elected President of the Northeast chapter of American Association of Dental Research and he maintains memberships in many prestigious dental organizations.
